Move Protect Cover

Moving can be a stressful time—whether you’re moving home or an office, locally or out-of-state. Knowing you have the right Cover to protect your belongings for loss and damage can ease the stress of the relocation. There are number of options to suit your specific requirements.

We can provide contractual liability protection for your goods.

MoveProtect is an extension to our standard contract that allows us to accept liability for loss or damage to your goods in certain circumstances.

Our liability under MoveProtect can be accepted for most goods we move or store. Please read our terms and conditions and MoveProtect Addendum for full details of the protection we can provide.

To benefit from MoveProtect, you must declare an appropriate replacement value for all goods (known as the Maximum Replacement Value). This figure must be adequate to include all goods moved and/or stored by us.

If you do not opt for MoveProtect, our standard terms limit our liability for your goods to a maximum of €40 per item and it is recommend you arrange insurance elsewhere at your own expense.

MoveProtect Cover solutions for:

• Local Residential Moves

We can offer Removals and Storage Insurance on every domestic move, which provides you with the peace of mind that your property will be fully protected throughout the entire moving process.

To support our removals services we offer all our domestic removals customers the option to take out removals cover with us. Our ‘Removals and Storage Policy’ ensures you and your property are fully protected during the crucial moving process. Although we take every possible precaution to minimise risk to your belongings, home removals cover is essential for house moves.

• International Relocations

For international removals we also offer comprehensive Marine MoveProtect Cover . We take every precaution to minimise the chance that any of your belongings will be damaged, but the additional cover of our Marine MoveProtect Cover  will provide protection for your personal belongings against the risks associated with international shipping and air freight.

• Commercial Relocations

If your business is relocating internationally, we also offer Marine Transit MoveProtect Cover. Whilst we take every possible precaution to protect your belongings during their journey, our Marine Transit MoveProtect Cover will offer that extra peace of mind. Your commercial goods and equipment will benefit from comprehensive protection against the risks associated with international shipping and air freight, arriving at their destination overseas safely and securely.
